‘Aaj Robibar’ to be aired on Star Plus

Humayun Ahmed’s popular serial ‘Aaj Robibar’ will be telecast in 150 countries together from October 1. Dubbing the serial in hindi, Indian tv channel Star Plus has bought the ownership of the play and will telecast in 150 countries where hindi speaking people are living.

Star Plus has already begun broadcasting advertisement of the serial named ‘Today is Sunday’.

It is said in the promotion that serial named “Aaj Robibar’ of the legendary writer of Bangladesh Humayun Ahmed will be broadcasted in the channel.With reference to this Humayun Ahmed’s wife Meher Afroz Shaon told Poriborton.com that Humayun Ahmed gave this drama to Channel-I a few years ago. After broadcasting in Channel-I the play is still with Channel-I. The officials of Channel-I themselves have attempted to broadcast the drama in Indian channel in Star Plus. Star Plus also showed interest to telecast the play. Shaon also added that she is very happy but still there is an uneasiness. And the reason for this discomfort is to hear hindi language from known persons. And the good thing is that it is broadcasted in abroad crossing the boundary of the country.
