The extra layer of fatty tissues under the chin, known as double chin, is usually caused due to extra body weight or aging. In very rare cases, it caused due to genes or heredity. This baggy skin is the result of the musculous mylohyoideus muscle, which lies underneath the chin, losing elasticity. Though not harmful, it can be unattractive and affect self-confidence. 1. Egg White:

Egg whites are fully loaded with proteins which tighten skin and pores, giving a natural face lift by removing sagging and fine lines. If applied regularly, egg whites remove dead skin cells and leave skin looking bright and young, thus ridding double chin effectively.


Egg White – 2 eggs
Milk – 1 tablespoon
Honey – 1 tablespoon
Peppermint essential oil – few drops
Lemon Juice – 1 tablespoon


Mix the listed ingredients together.
Apply to your face, neck, and chin.
Leave for 30 minutes or until completely dry.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
Repeat once every two weeks for best results.

2. Wheat Germ Oil:

Wheat germ oil is fully loaded with essential nutrients such as vitamin B6, vitamin B complex, vitamin E (which prevents skin from again), folic acid, potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus. The regenerative powers of the oil moisturize and leave skin healthy. It also tightens sagging skin and reduces extra fat in the body. The oil gives fair complexion and removes double chin.

Apply a sufficient amount of oil to your chin and neck before going to bed.
Massage it for 15 – 20 minutes by putting your thumbs on the bottom of your neck and moving upwards towards your chin.
Leave overnight and rinse with water the next morning.

3. Cocoa Butter:

Cocoa butter has excellent emollient and moisturizing properties which eradicate sagging skin and dead skin cells that lead to aging. It also contains high amounts of fatty acids and deeply hydrates the skin, giving more elasticity.


Cocoa butter – 1 to 2 teaspoons


Warm cocoa butter for 1 – 2 minutes.
Apply to your face, neck, and chin.
Massage it for 15 – 20 minutes by putting your thumbs on the bottom of your neck and moving upwards towards your chin.
